Four-Legged Giant

The Four-Legged Giant was the first major Circus Tree. According to Wilma Erlandson, it was started sometime before she was born in 1928 in Hilmar, CA. It is made from 4 American Sycamores (Platanus occidentalis) and was originally planted in a 6 foot square. Now you can find it in Mission Plaza near San Juan Grill.

Fun Fact:

Most facts state that this tree was begun in 1925. It was also known as "Four-Legged Squatter".
