ADMISSIONS ASSOCIATE

Admissions associates are responsible for collecting money for parking, selling admission tickets, scanning tickets at turnstiles and processing season passes.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to accurately handle cash
  • Ability to perform basic math functions

Job Overview: Performs cash handling opens, closes and balances register, collects parking fees, and sells admission tickets. Scans and collects tickets for admission. Processes season passes. Answers and questions and gives directions.

CALL CENTER/GROUP SALES ASSOCIATE 

Field all incoming calls for Group Sales and provide callers with information on various ticket programs, pricing and special events. Responsibilities of this position also include providing support to Group Sales, as directed, by generating ticket sales via direct phone contact.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have full and unlimited availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED

Job Overview: Responsible for selling admission tickets and service to groups of 25 or more. Handles inquiries from callers, providing them with accurate information on the appropriate group programs/prices that fit the group's needs. Processes ticket orders via an on-line computer system in a prompt and efficient manner. Matches incoming payments (i.e. checks, cash, credit card charges) to previously placed ticket orders to ensure full payment is made. Position requires Background Check and Urine Drug Screening Test.

CASH CONTROL

Audit the park's daily revenues: cash media and coin.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interests, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume

Job Overview: Provide courteous and helpful service to the internal customers needing assistance via the service windows. Prepare the audited revenues for deposit to the vault. Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a urine drug screening test (UDS) and a background check.

COMMISSARY ASSOCIATE 

Responsible for preparing foods to be sold in the park.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus

Job Overview: Prepares and creates recipes for food to be sold in the park. Sets up and stocks the commissary and warehouse areas. Keeps kitchen and warehouse areas neat and clean; washing floors and tables, emptying trash cans and washing dishes. Ensures food portion control is observed. Position requires Background Check and Urine Drug Screening Test.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)

To assist First-Aid Operations and Area Managers in providing/administering skilled pre-emergency care for all guests and employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 yrs or older
  • High school graduate, GED or equivalent
  • Must possess a current county issued EMT certificate
  • Must possess a current CPR certificate issued by a recognized medical agency—Red Cross or American Heart Association preferred
  • Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must have good communication skills, and be detail oriented

Job Overview: Completes seasonal and full-time medical record cards, as well as updates to this information throughout the year. Completes the Daily Visitors Log and First Aid Injury Reports that require some verbal communication with park guests and employees. Depending on the nature of the injury, this position must be able to type state-approved OSHA reports and set-up the necessary logs for insurance purposes. Will document communication with injured guests and employees and forward document to the registered nurse for a response.

ENTERTAINMENT CHARACTER

Responsible for portraying a costumed character, providing the communication means for a character as an escort, and ensuring a personal and exciting interactive guest experience while on a park walk.

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must have good communication skills

Job Overview: Maintains performance standards at the highest level of professional expectations of the park. Interacts with guests in a cordial, friendly manner. Maintain at all times a good rapport with guests in the park. Model a professional attitude. Position requires Urine Drug Screening Test.

FOOD SERVICE ASSOCIATE 

Responsible for preparing, selling and serving food to guests. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age

  • Must have good communication skills
  • Ability to accurately handle cash
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Ability to use a cash register once trained

Job Overview: Greets guests in a courteous manner. Takes food orders, receives payment and makes change using a cash register. Prepares and serves food. Keeps kitchen and dining areas neat and clean; washing floors and tables, emptying trash cans and washing dishes.

FOODS WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE 

Oversees the efficient operation of the warehouse to supply adequate stock to the park for daily operation.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license

Job Overview: Uses kitchen equipment to prepare food hot and cold food items as required. Make sales transactions using the cash register. Sets up restaurant supplies, i.e. napkins, utensils, etc. Keeps work and dining areas clean and neat, and empty trash, mopping, washing dishes, etc. Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a urine drug screening test (UDS) and a background check.

GAMES ASSOCIATE

Provides good guest service by motivating guests to play games of skill.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to accurately handle cash
  • Ability to perform basic math functions

Job Overview: Greet the guest and create an environment that encourages guests to play the game while using a microphone. Explain and demonstrate how the game is played. Collect fee for playing the game. Distribute prizes to winners.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Assists in the installation and maintenance of computer systems. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a GED or equivalent
  • Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must have previous computer experience with knowledge of Windows 2000 operating system, PC application software including the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as previous experience or training on Windows Server 2003 and SCO Unix plus.

Job Overview: Process user requests for reports and answers questions from users. Install, support and upgrade computer hardware and software. Troubleshoot PC and network hardware and software problems. Assist with network administration and backup functions. Assist with troubleshooting network infrastructure problems and working with others from Corporate Information Systems and online support to resolve issues.

JANITORIAL ASSOCIATE

Responsible for cleaning offices, restrooms, shops and other facilities both on stage as well as behind the scenes.

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions

Job Overview: Clean assigned areas with appropriate equipment, i.e. brooms, mops, vacuums and cleaning supplies. Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a urine drug screening test (UDS) and a background check.

LANDSCAPER

Assists in the management of daily landscaping operations related to grounds maintenance needs and overall park aesthetics.

Job Overview: Water, install, remove foliage, places mulch and plants trees as necessary. Operate high powered equipment such as back-pack blowers, mowers, trimmers, clippers, and hand tools such as pruners, lopping shears, shovels, rakes, etc. Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a urine drug screening test (UDS) and a background check.

MARKETING/GROUP SALES ASSISTANT 

Under general supervision, performs a range of duties related to Group Sales and Administrative areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or high school internship, GED or equivalent
  • Must have good communication skills, and be detail oriented
  • Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate and percent

Job Overview: Will assist in the creation, planning and execution of marketing programs as assigned, including corporate events and weddings. The Marketing/Group Sales Assistant reports directly to the Group Sales Manager.

MERCHANDISE ASSOCIATE

Provides quality service to guests while monitoring, displaying and selling merchandise in a store or kiosk.

Job Overview: Assist guests in determining type of merchandise desired. Sets up products in the stores and carts. Monitors inventory and makes sure shelves are stocked throughout the day. Answers questions that Guests may have regarding product. Uses cash register to correctly total price and tax merchandise selected by Guest. Receives payment of cash, credit card, checks or travelers checks and makes correct change. Wraps or bags merchandise for Guests.

MERCHANDISE WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Responsible for properly documenting via signing, logging and receiving all incoming Merchandise POS.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license

Job Overview: Ensures that all parcels received are accountable and properly signed for with carrier. Responsible for inputting pertinent data into system needed for efficient product monitoring/processing. Ensures that quantity counts, product identification unit and retail costs are all correct. Ensures that product is delivered to proper destination. Required to operate pallet jacks and dollies. Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a urine drug screening test (UDS) and a background check.

RIDE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (seasonal) 

Responsible for maintaining the safe and proper operation of the park rides through daily inspection, maintenance and rehabilitation of all rides and components thereof.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have full and unlimited availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must have experience with light machinery
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, hydraulic systems and gaseous systems
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED

Job Overview: Responsible for daily inspection of rides. Troubleshoot ride problems associated with downtimes at site and affect repairs as needed to bring the ride back online. Perform oil change on compressors or gear boxes. Maintain mechanical and pneudraulic rides and associated equipment. Repair ride cabins, torque tubes, break replacements, etc. Position requires Background Check and Urine Drug Screening Test.

RIDE OPERATOR 

Responsible for operating park rides. They ensure the safety of guests by visually and physically checking all safety restraint systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must have good communication skills

Job Overview: Loads and unloads guests on rides safely, checking all safety restraint systems. Maintains safe ride procedures. Checks height requirements and restricts guests from riding who do not meet the requirements. Possesses knowledge of emergency exit procedures. Works with ride control panels to start, stop and emergency stop rides. Position requires Urine Drug Screening Test.

SECURITY OFFICER 

Responsible for ensuring guest and employee safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must have good communication skills, and be detail oriented

Job Overview: Ensures guest and employee safety by preventing, investigating and resolving safety hazards, accidents, disturbances, disorderly individuals and conditions which may affect the overall protection of life and property on the Park's premises by performing required duties personally or through subordinates. Requires a High School Diploma or GED. Position requires Background Check and Urine Drug Screening Test.

SIGN TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT 

Assists Print/Sign Shop in the preparation, fabrication, and installation of signage and graphics. Runs printing equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 yrs or older
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license
  • Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
  • Must have good communication skills, and be detail oriented

Job Overview: Must complete daily park sign maintenance as assigned, install and remove all signage as directed, complete sign background preparation, work with hand and portable power tools associated with trade, work with shop power equipment, work from elevated/raised platforms i.e. ladder, scaffold, rolling stage, etc. Job requires standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and bending. Perform all job duties in a safe/responsible manner. Computer knowledge is a plus.

RIDE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (full time)

Under occasional supervision, inspects, maintains and repairs rides and equipment as assigned. Performs related duties as required. This position will reports to the Ride Mechanic Foreperson.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have full and unlimited availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Specialty in one or more of the following fields preferred: electrical, fiberglass painting and repair, welding, HVAC, or plumbing
  • Requires forklift and man lift certifications
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, hydraulic systems and gaseous systems
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Mechanical/Industrial Maintenance (Diploma)
