In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, pick up your Passport to the Islands, visit each week, and collect your stamps as you journey through Polynesia—where vibrant stories, traditions, and island flavors come to life at Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park. Each weekend brings educational storytelling, live performances, and specialty food offerings inspired by the islands. This event is FREE for all Gilroy Gardens Members.

Begin your adventure each weekend by picking up your Voyage to the Islands Passport at the Front Gate! As you explore each island, collect unique stamps along the way and track your journey through every exciting discovery.

Every tiki totem throughout the park carries a story, a purpose, and a deeper meaning rooted in tradition and culture.

We’ve partnered with Legacies of the Pacific to celebrate the rich culture, flavors and traditions of the Polynesian Islands. Legacies of the Pacific is a community coalition that supports and uplifts Pacific Rim communities. They are committed to fostering a diverse cultural environment that promotes collaboration and community engagement by bridging outside communities to the Pacific Heritage and uniting community through the LOP RIPPLE effect.
