Samoan Community Development Center (SCDC) from San Francisco, presents our traditional Samoan dance blends graceful, powerful storytelling through movement, bringing island life to the stage.
Discover the Magic of Polynesia
In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, pick up your Passport to the Islands, visit each week, and collect your stamps as you journey through Polynesia—where vibrant stories, traditions, and island flavors come to life at Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park. Each weekend brings educational storytelling, live performances, and specialty food offerings inspired by the islands. This event will run on weekends in May 2026 and is FREE for all Gilroy Gardens Members.
May 23-25: Hawaii
Ha’a Hula from Hollister celebrates the joy, rhythm and heartbeat of hula itself. Performances all three days include Ha’a Hula on the main stage and Merahi o Tehani exclusively at the Island Feast.
May 30-31: Samoa

Legacies of the Pacific is a community coalition that supports and uplifts Pacific Rim communities. They are committed to fostering a diverse cultural environment that promotes collaboration and community engagement by bridging outside communities to the Pacific Heritage and uniting community through the LOP RIPPLE effect.
