Join the Student Volunteer Program and be part of something awesome! You’ll get hands-on experience helping guests connect with nature, science, and the world around them—while learning new skills, making friends, and having fun along the way.

Program Requirements

The Green Barn serves as our educational hub, and as a student volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in creating meaningful connections with our visitors. Your responsibilities will revolve around facilitating our renowned nature exchange program and assisting with scheduled scientific activities.

As a volunteer, you will:

  • Assist the exploration of the Nature Exchange Program.
  • Lead scientific activities with experiments, demonstrations, and interactive sessions.
  • Nurture a love for learning and science.
  • Gain knowledge of the physical sciences and environmental education.

Dress Code

As a representative of the Green Barn Nature Exchange program, we ask that you adhere to our dress code. Please wear a plain white shirt (without logos) along with khaki pants, shorts, or skirts.
