A Few Craft Ideas for Troops
Looking for a little extra inspiration? Below are a few fun craft ideas for troops that you can add to your plans or mix in with your own activities!
- Daisies
- Create outdoor art and share it with your friends
- Brownies
- Dance, make music, and create unique outdoor crafts.
- Juniors
- Grow your own garden plants and learn about the wonders of nature.
Other fun activities include making binoculars from TP tubes, creating seed art, and planting flowers to take home. Please note that Gilroy Gardens does not provide craft materials or supplies—troops should bring their own.
Troop Notes
- Badges: Troop leaders should bring the badges that they are working on.
- Craft Supplies: Troops will select the crafts for their troops and bring the supplies to the park. These supplies will be transported to the Creekside Terrace for use during the event.
- Parking: Personal vehicle parking separate (Packages A & B). Parking for overnight campers is discounted. Free parking for buses.
