Plants and trees need water to grow—and so do kids! Explore popular water play areas at Gilroy Gardens and other places to cool off on a hot summer day. Note that all water attractions are included with regular park admission.
Water Oasis Lagoon
Gentle Play for Little Ones
Water Oasis Lagoon features three distinct play areas designed for our youngest guests. “Chill out” in the shallow Lagoon wading pool, take a gentle flower shower at the Splashpad, and experiment with the way water flows at Water Journey. Grownups can stay close by in comfy beach chairs under the swaying palm trees.
Brave the Bucket
Super-Sized Splashes
Brave the Bucket (aka Water Oasis Expansion) features bigger slides for bigger kids—and more super-splashy fun for everyone (including moms and dads)! You can zoom down twisty water slides, get drenched under a giant tipping bucket, and have a blast (literally) playing with 90 water jets and other features.
Lakeside Splash
Lap Up the Luxury
Come soak up the fun at Lakeside Splash, which opened in 2024 with fun new places for younger kids to splash and play. Luxury Lakeside cabanas include 32-inch TVs and delivery service from the nearby Lakeside Smokehouse BBQ Restaurant.

The Best Place To Chill
Our colorful cabanas are a great way to give your family a comfortable “home base” during a full day of fun in the sun. Each cabana is located in an area suitable for different age groups and different paces of play.
Please note that cabanas are very popular and do sell out, especially on summer weekends. If you know the date you plan to visit, we highly recommend you reserve online in advance.

Bonfante Falls
Want to cool off without changing into a swim suit? Take a refreshing walk through a majestic waterfall!
Bonfante Falls includes the five different types of waterfalls that occur in nature: Tumbling, Sheeting, Cascading, Freefall, and Split. The falls are three stories high and tumble over boulders that were all individually placed by park founder Michael Bonfante.
Duck and Swan Paddleboats
Enjoy a peaceful paddle across serene Coyote Lake in your very own giant duck or swan boat. This is an iconic Gilroy Gardens experience your family will remember forever!

Rainbow Garden Boat Ride
Take a gentle boat ride that winds peacefully through colorful annual gardens and whimsical topiaries.
Keep an eye out for buzzing bees and a leaping dolphin!
