Gilroy Gardens Opens for Family Fun on March 18
March 7, 2018 (Gilroy, CA): Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park will officially open for the 2018 season on Sunday, March 18, 2018. The park features over 40 rides and attractions, majestic gardens, and the world-famous Circus Trees.
This year the park’s popular Water Oasis play area will be doubling in size—with four new larger slides designed for older children, a giant tipping bucket that splashes more than 300 gallons of water, and over 90 additional spray jets and other water play features. The expanded Water Oasis, slated to open mid-May, will also include more family cabanas, seating, and shade umbrellas.
Barb Granter, General Manager of Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park, said, “Our gardens are so gorgeous in the springtime, we decided to open a little earlier than usual this year and give kids and their families some extra time to enjoy the park. I know our guests will also be excited to see all the construction going on at Water Oasis!”
Water Oasis may be getting bigger, but the park’s prices are not. For a limited time, Gilroy Gardens Value Memberships are available at the season-lowest price of $48 for both children and adults. Value Members receive unlimited daytime admission to the park through January 6, 2019. Memberships can be paid in full or spread over six installments of $8 each. To order online, go to www.gilroygardens.org. Memberships and single-day tickets can also be purchased at the gate. Children ages 2 and under are admitted free.
From March 18 through May 28, Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm and on some Fridays and select weekdays from 11 am to 5 pm. For the complete season calendar and additional information, go to www.gilroygardens.org.
