Look for our Hibiscus trees that ordinarily would be shrubs. They have been trained into standards and usually are filled with blossoms. Did you know that Hibiscus blossoms only last one day? But don’t worry - as soon as one blossom drops, another opens up!

Have you ever seen a Lantana tree? You will if you visit Monarch Garden. Again, these shrubs have been trained into standards.

Have you had your fruit today? We have Papaya, three kinds of Sapote, two varieties of Guava, two of Avocado, Banana, Mango, Pummelo, Orange, Lemon, Cherimoya, Sugar Apple and Pineapple all growing here.

See those twisty palms? Ask a Docent how those three large palm trees near the entrance became so twisted.
