Spring Fling (March 21-April 27) - Spring Fling is a special Scavenger Hunt throughout the Park. Kids 12 and under receive a map and make their way through the Park to pick up cool springtime gifts. Our Spring Fling event includes our special Easter operation of Friday, March 21 through Sunday, March 23 and our extended Spring Break week March 24-28, plus April 10-11 and 17-18. Plus, Guests will be treated to an array of wonderful spring flowerbeds as they enter the Park, a garden sale at Hall's Mercantile, and the chance to take a photo with our character, Gil the garlic guy.

Scout Camp Nights (Girl Scout/Brownies - May 2 & 17, June 7 & 21, October 4 & 11 and Boy Scout/Cub Scout - September 13, October 25) - Come and experience camping in an exciting and safe environment that combines the beauty of magnificent gardens with the appeal and excitement of a traditional family theme park. This event includes a wonderful camping facility, admission to Gilroy Gardens, special Camp Night patch, a docent-lead educational activity and a Camp Night Showcase! YMCA Camp Nights (May 16, July 10 and August 14) - Our acclaimed Camp Night program has been extended to host a special Camp Night just for YMCA groups. Guests will enter the wonderful camp facility on Saturday, enjoy overnight family camp experience, then enjoy the fun, excitement and learning that you can only get at Gilroy Gardens. Natural Sciences Day (May 21) - Under the guidance of educators, community members, local businesses and organizations, this exciting program offers students the opportunity to experience a complete day of learning in multiple disciplines of science. Students participate in activities throughout the day like Plant Labeling, Rock Experiments, the Water Cycle, Composting and more. Plus, the kids will have a chance to experience some of the rides and attractions that are designed to continue the educational process.

Memorial Day BBQ (May 24-26) - Come celebrate Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26 at Gilroy Gardens. In addition to the Red, White & Cool Celebration, the Park will host a special Memorial Day BBQ in the patriotically themed Events Plaza from noon to 2:00pm. This all-you-can-eat meal includes: Tangy BBQ Chicken, All Beef Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Western Style Chili Beans, Garden Salad, Dinner Roll, Fresh Cut Watermelon, Ice Cream Novelties, and Cola-Cola Soft Drinks. Tickets can be purchased online (coming soon) or at the door. Advance ticketing is encouraged as a limited number of seats are available each day and are first-come, first-served. Adults (ages 10+) are $12.99 per person, Children (ages 3-9) are $8.99 per person. Admission ticket or Season Pass is also required for admission to the Park.

Summer Safari – Rainforest Adventure (July 14-August 17) - Our wild animal exhibit returns in 2008 by popular demand. You won’t want to miss our Summer Safari event with an all-new cast of wild animals! Guests can experience Summer Safari: Rainforest Adventure, which will feature a variety of wild animals found in the world rainforests. Guests can get up close to these wild animals and learn about each animal's habitat, role in the food chain, and other characteristics. In addition, the flower beds will be updated with summer blooms, there will be Summer Safari merchandise for sale at selected retail venues and our character, Gil, will be available to meet and greet Guests daily.
