GILROY GARDENS FAMILY THEME PARK INTRODUCES
ALL-NEW “COUNTRY FAIR” CELEBRATION

GILROY, Calif. – (Aug. 25, 2008) – Get ready to round up the entire family as Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park gives guests of all ages the opportunity to experience the fun and festivities of a Country Fair, an all-new event for the 2008 season! This exciting limited engagement takes place weekends Aug. 30 through Sept. 28.

Guests visiting Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park during Country Fair are in for a one-of-a-kind celebration that’s sure to delight the entire family. Throughout the day, guests will be treated to live country music and line dancing demonstrations. Park goers with young cowpokes can also take part in a kid’s stick rodeo and for a nominal fee, saddle up and enjoy pony rides, as well as a visit to a petting zoo with a variety of friendly farm animals. 

Plus, guests can take part in an old-fashioned country cookin’ barbecue with all the “fixins” in the park’s Special Events Plaza. For a nominal fee, families can enjoy traditional all-you-can-eat barbecue which includes tender pork ribs, barbecue chicken, all-beef hot dogs and a variety of other mouth-watering favorites. In addition, Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park will continue its popular annual fall events later this season including Halloween Treasure Hunt, Community Scarecrow Alley and Scout Camp Nights.

Simply purchase a full-priced admission ticket, have your photo ID made and come back and visit us any public operating day through Nov. 23, 2008! The LOTSA CARD is only $32.99 for children and seniors (ages 3 – 6 or 65 and older).
