(JULY - AUGUST 2007) Bonfante's Splash Garden-Now Open (July 4th through the 2007 Season) - It's time to get soaked at Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park again! Gilroy Gardens is happy to open Splash Garden for 2007! Guests can once again climb up and slide down a replica Circus Tree that sprays water from its branches, shoot water from a cannon at targets, or dump buckets of water on an un-expecting friend. So pack your swimsuits, towels and sunscreen and enjoy this unique water attraction. Summer Safari – Predators & Prey (July 23rd through August 29th) - New in 2007 guests can experience some of California's native wild animals at Summer Safari: Predators and Prey. This limited time event features a variety of wild animals that are nature's predators and prey. Guests can get up close to these wild animals and learn about each animal's habitat, role in the food chain, and other animal characteristics. This live animal exhibit runs for five weeks, July 23rd through August 29th, and will feature a Black Bear, Mountain Lion, Lynx, Deer, Vulture, King Snake, and more. Festival Camp Night (July 27-28) - After hosting thousands of Girl and Boy Scouts during private Scout Camp Nights, Gilroy Gardens is pleased to host families at the first Festival Camp Night, July 27-28. Guests are encouraged to visit the world famous Gilroy Garlic Festival on Saturday, camp overnight in Gilroy Gardens’ tree-laden group camping area, and then enjoy the Park on Sunday.
