Enchanted Wings
July 13 - August 16

Back by popular demand, the "Friends of a Feather" bird show returns to Lakeside Amphitheater for 5 weeks. Plus, NEW in 2009, our Enchanted Wings event will include an animal training facility across from the amphitheater where children can have a hands-on experience under the supervision of our handlers and trainers. Check back for a confirmed list of enchanting birds and animals closer to the event date.

Members can bring a friend to experience Gilroy Gardens for FREE during these specially selected days! Members must present their processed 2009 Membership card at the designated ticket booth to receive one (1) FREE ticket for a friend. Receive one (1) FREE ticket, per Membership, per day. FREE ticket must be used on day of distribution only. This offer is for holders of our Tax Deductible Membership Card only and does NOT apply to the Lotsa Card Front Gate Promotion or any affiliated California's Great America Season Passes.

Creature Kingdom
August 22 - October 25

Creature Kingdom features all your favorite barnyard animals. This petting zoo is designed just for little ones by Pony Up! and comes complete with presentations, opportunities for hand feeding and even pony rides! For the safety and care of the animals hourly access is limited and there is an additional charge. Funds go directly to the care of the animals.

Middle Earth
October 31 - November 29

Hobbits, Dwarves, Elves & Wizards! Starting on Halloween, our fall children's Treasure Hunt is themed for Middle Earth. Children 12 and under can once again search the Park for treasure and collect fantastical artifacts! Sycamore Bridge is transformed with Middle Earth displays brought to you by local charities and businesses. Groups who are chosen to decorate receive complimentary tickets to Gilroy Gardens for their organization. Check back later to find out how to register your group for this event.

Independence Day BBQ
July 3-5

Come celebrate Independence Day with us! The Park will host a special Independence Day BBQ in the patriotically themed Events Plaza from noon to 2:00pm. This all-you-can-eat meal includes: Tangy BBQ Chicken, All Beef Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Western Style Chili Beans, Garden Salad, Dinner Roll, Fresh Cut Watermelon, Ice Cream Novelties and Cola-Cola Soft Drinks.

BBQ is only $14.99 (ages 7 and up) and $8.99 (ages 3-6), plus sales tax, and will be available at the Park on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchase BBQ tickets here!.

Please note: an admission ticket, Lotsa Card or Membership is required for admission to the Park. Admission price does NOT include BBQ.

YMCA Camp Nights
July 11 & August 15

Our acclaimed Camp Night program has been extended to host a special Camp Night just for YMCA groups. Guests will enter our wonderful camp facility on Saturday, enjoy an overnight family camp experience; then enjoy the fun, excitement and learning that you can only get at Gilroy Gardens. Package includes three meals, Park admission and special camp activities! Don’t miss out on this exciting experience. Garlic Festival Camp Night
July 25-26

Gilroy Gardens is pleased to host families at Garlic Festival Camp Nights. Guests are encouraged to visit the world famous Gilroy Garlic Festival on Saturday, camp overnight in Gilroy Gardens tree-laden group camping area, then enjoy the Park on Sunday. This unique camp program is perfect for families, and is the ideal location for your child’s first camp experience. Scout Camp Nights
Boy/Cub Scouts --- September 19 & October 17
Girl Scouts/Brownies --- October 3 & 10

Gather your troops and do something cool with them this year! Bring the troops out to one of our Scout Camp Nights. Separate dates are available for Girl Scouts/Brownies and Boy/Cub Scouts. Halloween Camp Night
October 30-31

We are pleased to host families at our 4th Annual Halloween Camp Night. Guests can camp overnight on Friday, October 30th in our tree-laden group camping area, then enjoy the Park on Saturday.
