Seasonal Employment Opportunities

Cash Control:

Cash Control
Assist in the management of the Cash Control department. Ensure that the Park revenues are consolidated, verified, deposited, and reported. Manage the revenue collection process. Manage the distribution of funds to the employees for the Park’s operation.

Facilities, Maintenance, & Construction:

Janitorial
Responsible for cleaning offices, restrooms, shops, and other facilities, both on-stage as well as behind the scenes. Being able to perform all job duties assigned in a safe/responsible manner. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs frequently and 50 lbs infrequently required. Must have good communication skills. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, must have reliable transportation. Must have full availability including weekends and holidays to meet business needs.

Landscaper
To assist in the management of daily landscaping operations related to grounds maintenance needs and overall park aesthetics. Install and provide general care/maintenance for trees, shrubs, flowering, and foliage plants. Being able to notify foreman of any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions. Driving preferred, but not required. Being able to operate power equipment and hand tools. Perform all duties in a safe responsible manner. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs frequently and 100 lbs infrequently required. Must have good communication skills. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, must have reliable transportation. Must have full availability including weekends and holidays to meet business needs.

Ride Maintenance Mechanic
Maintain the safe and proper operation of park rides through the daily inspection, maintenance and rehabilitation of all rides and components thereof. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs frequently and 50 lbs infrequently required. Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent and vocational training in related field. Knowledge and use of all major and basic hand tools, experience with light machinery, hydraulic systems, plumbing and gaseous systems. Ability to operate forklifts and trucks is required. Must be able to work weekends, weekdays and holidays. Must have a valid CA Driver’s License. Applicants who are offered employment are required to have a drug screen and background check conducted.

Information Systems:

I.S. Helpdesk
Assist in installing and maintaining computer systems. Answers help calls and assists end-users in resolving problems. Troubleshoot PC and network hardware and software problems in addition to installing, support and upgrade computer hardware and software. We are looking for people who have previous computer experience with knowledge of Windows 2000 operating system and PC application software including Microsoft Office Suite. Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma and valid CA Driver’s License. College courses in computer science or information systems management preferred.

Park Operations:

Admissions
Responsible for selling and issuing parking/admission tickets and to collect/scan tickets at turn stiles. To be able to perform all duties assigned in a safe/responsible manner. To be able to perform any other duties as assigned. Must have good communication skills. Be able to lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs. Ability to follow written and oral instructions, able to perform basic math functions, ability to be organized and to prioritize to meet deadlines. Must be at least 15 years of age. Must have reliable transportation, and must have full availability, including weekends and holidays.

Foods Associate
Responsible for selling and serving food to Guests. Greets Guests in a friendly, courteous manner; exceptional customer service skills. Food Service Associates help to make sure all equipment is being used properly and is in proper working order, keep kitchen and dining areas clean and neat, and make transactions using a cash register. Must be at least 15 years of age or older.

Games
Provide good guest service by inviting and motivating Guests to participate in playing “games of skill”, and to be supportive of the players by encouraging and “cheering them on to victory”. Must be at least 15 years of age.

Merchandise Associate
Provides service to Guests and Associates while monitoring, displaying and selling merchandise in an outlet location. Merchandise Associates cordially interact with Guests and help them to determine type of merchandise desired by providing the Guest with information regarding products and services of retail stores. Must be at least 15 years of age.

Rides Associate
Responsible for operating park rides and ensuring the safety of Guests by visually and physically checking all safety restraint systems. Must be at least 16 years of age or older.

Safety:

Dispatcher
Dispatches all routing and emergency traffic for assigned channels. Dispatches all police/security, first aid and file dept calls. Monitors and responds to all relevant radio traffic. Records clearly all radio transmissions for base on assigned channels. Assist Supervisor in monitoring weather conditions and advises appropriate units. Communicates to Supervisor problems or concerns with situations or individuals. Assist supervisor with various dept tasks. Performs other duties as assigned. Must have a valid CA Driver’s License, be at least 18 years of age, and have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

EMT/Fire & Safety Officer
To assist Loss Prevention Operations Manager providing/administering skilled pre-emergency care for all Guests and Employees. Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Fire Safety Department. Must have previous experience in the fire/safety/EMT field. Duties include performing thorough accident investigations and responding to Park emergencies. Maintaining of Park portable fire extinguishers and hood systems in addition to overseeing HAZMAT storage and removal. Must have a valid CA Driver’s License (class 3), be at least 18 years of age, and have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must possess a current county issue EMT certificate and a current CPR certificate issued by a recognized medical agency: Red Cross or American Heart Association Preferred.

Security Officer
Help maintain a safe environment for Guests and Associates by enforcing all Park policies and procedures and responding to emergency calls. Must be at least 18 years of age or older, have a valid CA Driver’s License, and have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Warehouse:

Foods Service Warehouse
Oversees the efficient operation of the warehouse to supply adequate stock to the Park for daily operation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs infrequently required. Main duties include shipping and receiving. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid CA Driver’s License. Previous warehouse/stock experience a plus.

Warehouse Delivery
Duties include picking and pulling orders or products from warehouse receivers and delivering the goods to designated units throughout the park as required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs infrequently required. Responsible for maintaining a well-organized and efficient operation by picking up credits and moving displays. Ensure warehouse is prepared for monthly cycle counts. Required to operate pallet jacks, dollies and forklift. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid CA Driver’s License.
