Education Discovery Tours

Gilroy Gardens Education Discovery Tours are designed as intimate educational adventures for students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. We have developed three different tours that are centered around science, but also include language, social studies and fine arts. All educational materials meet California Department of Education standards.

Students will be placed in small learning tour groups that will be facilitated by our trained staff of volunteer Docents. Each group will explore specific areas of Gilroy Gardens appropriate to the educational objectives of the tour. The Docent guide will utilize student workbooks and activities to enhance the student's experience at Gilroy Gardens.

Participants can pick any non-operating (no rides offered) or operating day (any ride operating during their visit) during this time frame. Lunch is included in all Education Discovery Tours.
